How it works

FUTURE FOODS

WORKS WITH FARMERS

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

How it works

Register

Farmers register with Future Foods and input the type and amount of rejected crops. Future Foods supplies farmers with everything they need and ongoing support to turn their cosmetically rejected crops into dehydrated whole food powders.

Package

Farmers are set up with all the necessary equipment and trained in the efficient operations for success. Future Foods uses the latest technology to preserve the nutrients in fruits and vegetables and turn each into shelf stable powders.

Earn

Future Foods markets, sells, and distributes the products to local and national retailers and direct to customers from their online store. The farmers are partners and share in the financial and carbon benefits of our upcycling efforts and revenue.

FOOD WASTE AND
GREENHOUSE GASES

Food waste is a huge issue in North America which results in a loss of nutrition, value and creates harmful greenhouse gases. When food rots it creates methane gas which is 28 times more harmful than CO2.

Food waste and how it is disposed of is the 3rd largest emitterof greenhouse gases globally.
